This is a painful review to write because the City of Bryant has invested in building a dog park that ought to deserve 4 or 5 stars. The facility itself is excellent. The fences are in excellent condition. There is segregation for small and big dogs. There is a rolling landscape. There are places for humans to sit. Most importantly: there are ample supplies provided to clean up after your dog after they come and play. Sadly, this is why this park gets a one-star rating from me. I just walked this park with my 35lb lab puppy, and it was filthy. There was literally no space in the park where there was no dog poop. If you drew a map of this park and sliced into 10ft squares and put an “X” everywhere there was a pile, every square would have 4 or 5 “X” in it. It really makes no sense at all as the dispenser for sacks was full and the trash can for waste was empty and read to receive new deposits. The only explanation for it is that people using this park simply don’t care that they are destroying it for others use. This park is a health hazard in its current state as I write this on 11 Sept 2024, and it is not the fault of the city. It is the fault of those who are negligently running their dogs in there and leaving the mess as if it didn’t matter for the next person who wants to use the park. My suggestion, sadly, is to close this park or repurpose it for something else after the mess is cleaned up. It was a good try by city officials, but in this case the citizens ruined a very good thing.

I was there for a golf tournament, so I'll base my review on that. It's been a while since I've been to the rest of the park, but based on my memory, I'd give it a 4 as well. It's pretty well maintained and the views of the river and the cliffs across it are beautiful. You'd never know it's right in the middle of town when you see all the views. The golf course was nice, but there were parts of the path blocked off, and a lot of bare dirt areas that were muddy because it was raining when I was there. That said, overall, it was a really nice course and enjoyable to play. There aren't any markers on the course of how many yards you are from the hole. They have plates on the cart path with the distances, but they're not readily visible. They used to have carts with screens and gps to help keep you off the restricted parts of the course and tell you how many yards, but they didn't this time. So that was a real challenge. Overall, it's a nice course and I recommend it, but it's not the nicest I've seen and doesn't have all the features I expect.
