What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Small park in the heart of Margate, with plenty of activities for either recreational sports or exercise. Firefighters park has two full size basketball courts, five tennis courts, four pickleball courts, a large covered playground, a walking/jogging path with fitness equipment, a beach volleyball area, and an open field, that can be used for stuff like field hockey or soccer. There is a good size dog park, with separate areas for large and small dogs. The dog park is separated by a canal in its own park like setting. You have to take a small walking bridge to get to the dog park, however, it’s further away from the noise of the sports courts. In the back portion of the park, there are three pavilions with BBQ grills, that can be reserved for use. It’s nice and quiet in that area of the park, so it could be good for a small get together.
