What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Well, we like Gantt Park because it has a place to throw out dog poop bags.
Read more about Gantt ParkLarge fenced area for doggos to run. Walking trail contained within the area. Most dogs are well-behaved. I do wish more people picked up after their dogs but it is a large area & easy to lose sight of exactly where your dog has gone unless you follow them around constantly. My dog looks forward to going here.
Read more about Pitner Road Dog ParkNicely shaded in summer. Nobody cleans up after their dogs, even though they say they do. Just a big social hour for most, who then ignore their dogs. The local tennis players used to drop off tennis balls, but they've stopped for some reason. Generally friendly people with a handful of psychos, like any place I suppose.
Read more about Sweat Mountain Dog ParkExcellent neighborhood park. Play area for children. The parking area is small by the children’s area. There is more parking at another area of the park across the field. Wellstar Kennestone hospital is nearby so I like going to the park while I’m waiting on family members to complete their appointments. The area is great for walking and jogging.
