What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
We came after a week of rainstorms so we were expecting lots of mud, but we didn't really see any. Most of the ground is covered in wonderful lush grass, but there were a lot of dry 'poop bombs' sitting around. We came when the winds were blowing Northeast to avoid any sewer plant smell. It wasn't really much of a problem except for one time when the wind died down there was a slight pungent smell in the air. After talking to some long-time locals they said that it's not usually a big issue since the wind blows north most of the time. My doggo had a blast, and we met a lot of kind semi-social people. We didn't use the small dog area, but it looked nice and lush too. *I can't give it a 5-star rating since the Bombs are plentiful and the pungent smell, though not overpowering, was slightly disturbing. I'll give it 4.3/5.0 stars.
Read more about Nature Park Dog ParkNot the best dog park honestly. You would think it would be a little better but from my experience most dogs don’t like it and don’t like the complete gravel. It isn’t very well kept either as you can see from the pictures. The waste baskets always fill up super fast and are not emptied often enough. They become overflowing really quickly. A lot of owners don’t pick up after their dogs which is noticeable and a lot dirtier for the dogs in gravel than in grass. It could be kept up better and if there was more grass it would be awesome. The platforms and tubes are great for the dogs and they enjoy getting on top of those. It was nice to have while the other one was closed by I don’t plan on going back if the other one is open.
