What dog owners are saying

Great park - we bark here often . The only drawback is the prickly ferns in the summer months & burrs at times. Has fountains for water on both small n large dog sides as well as many picnic tables to sit n rest. Very social regulars. Well maintained. Only drawback is Blaine fair days closes the park
Read more about Swanson Dog ParkOverall thoughts: this is a super fun park and mostly shaded which makes for a good long outing! SWINGS? Yes, see photo. Lots of options and they're above solid ground instead of woodchips so even little kids can get on them. PLAY STRUCTURE FOR BIG/LITTLE KIDS? Yes, both! SHADE? Pretty well shaded on the outskirts of the park and about half of the park when we visited. DISTANCE FROM PARKING LOT TO THE PLAYGROUND? Basically right next to it! TABLES OR GAZEBOS? LOTS of tables. Two nearby gazebos. BENCHES? Yes, a few well placed ones. BATHROOM? Accessible porta potty. WALKING PATH? To connect the gazebos to the park, yes. OPEN AREA? A bit of open area between the gazebos. BUSY/LOUD STREET? Neither are noticeable from the playground. ANY FUN EXTRAS? The zip line is my sons favorite!
