I have been walking the 2 Mile Loop & the Lake area 5 days a week for over a year. It's lovely and well kept. Some images from the past month...
Read more about Branch Brook ParkThe county did a nice job with this park. All gravel they provide poop bags if needed and water bowls. Usually decent well behaved dogs once in a while you get one acting up. Just need to be aware. They do have a time out fenced in area.
Read more about South Mountain Dog ParkMy dog really like this park. The people and dogs were friendly towards us. It is clean, with plenty of benches to sit while you pet 🐕 enjoy themselves. I have been to parks where I notice I had to keep and eye on him so he doesn't try to get out the area through a hole in the fence. There's nothing to worry about here, brand new and looks like it.
Read more about Essex County Branch Brook Park Dog ParkIt’s clean and since it’s new the equipment here is still in good condition. There is a big dog side and small dog side. Always looks empty when I pass by so I don’t know if that’s good or bad. The park is clean and there’s no dog poop and it doesn’t have that bad urine scent yet. The area is on a busy street but there’s not much police patrol, some days the Essex county sheriff surveillance is parked inside the park.
