This park can be a useful space, with some caveats. PLEASE read this if your dog is reactive at all, or younger and still being socialized. I have stopped taking my dog here, unfortunately because of other owners, and would like to help others make an informed decision.
TL;DR: Too many inattentive owners, as well as owners who do not understand how dogs naturally communicate and behave, make this park risky. If your dog is extremely easygoing with other dogs (or the park is empty), it will likely be fine, but exercise caution.
There have been numerous occasions in which other dogs have been actively trying to get out of the park while my dog and I are entering. Trying to squeeze into a foot-wide gap while multiple dogs are pushing against my legs, and then somehow trying to get my dog in without letting the other dogs out, is challenging to say the least. The worst part is that I will look for the owners and see them 100 feet away on their phone, or worse, just staring at me blankly.
If your dog is even slightly reactive or just expresses normal dog behavior, like growling at other dogs to set boundaries, expect other dog owners to be very hit or miss in whether they are understanding or not. I have run into too many people here who think dogs barking loudly at each other is "mean," even when, for example, it's my dog barking at intact male dogs who will not leave her alone. I now know that I should remove her from these situations earlier, but I naively thought the other dog owners would help and call their dogs back.
Unless your dog is a furry pushover who will sit patiently and quietly as other poorly-trained dogs try to steal toys/treats out of their mouth, or persistently invade their personal space, other dog owners may consider your dog aggressive and shun you.
On the other hand, there are also occasionally dogs that are actually too aggressive or pushy, and their owners take no action so your only choice is to leave (apologies to responsible owners of these breeds, but if you see Huskies, Malamutes or German Shepherds in the park, be cautious).
The behavior of some owners also sucks. Some people immediately sit down and are glued to their phone for the next half hour, even while their dogs are being nuisances. Others have given me dirty looks for sternly saying "No!" to their dog. It's your job to train your dog not to aggressively sniff strangers' crotches or stick their nose into someone else's purse!
There are responsible dog owners with whom I have never had a problem, but I have had so many infuriating experiences here that I wish I had stopped going here sooner. I wish I was exaggerating in this review, but I truly am not, and I know other dog owners have had similar problems.
My dog is my first dog and I regret taking her here when she was younger because she developed reactivity that has never quite gone away. As I learned more about caring for dogs, I learned that a lot of animal behavior professionals actually dislike dog parks and recommend that they be avoided because of this.
This dog park will not last forever, though. This plot of land is owned by the person who owns Renaissance. He tried to develop it a few years ago but was stalled by community opposition, so he is just sitting on it for now and doesn't seem to care about people using it as a dog park. At some point he will either successfully develop the land or sell it to another developer and the park will be no more.

I really like this dog park. So far I've not had any problems with other dogs. Everyone seems to be mannered and friendly. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because not everyone cleans up after their dog. It's already muddy if the weather is wet; leaving dog waste behind makes it horrible.

This dog park is a lifesaver for energetic pups—plenty of space to run and friendly regulars. It’s always a fun stop for both dogs and their humans.
