Tucked away, this smaller, narrow park acts big for its size, offering some unobstructed views of the bay, some getaway and even hilled walking paths with boardwalks, nice tree cover throughout, some less traveled areas for a quiet book read, and a touch of history. We picked a perfect blue sky day with temps in the mid 70s, so it all added up to a very pleasant surprise and experience.

This is a hidden little park with green grass, fun trees, and a long road/walkway down towards the little beach area. That road/walkway has benches along the way to take little breaks. It is dog-friendly for friendly dogs. There are newer wooden pathways through the trees for some exploring and you can go deeper in and find old Native American mounds. This is not a playground kind of park and it doesn’t have an open field since the grass has trees and is sorta hilly but I do love it for a local photos spot. And my kids like to climb the trees.

Great park and dog friendly. Lots of squirrels and a good view of the sunsets! Plenty of space to walk around and places to sit at. Lots of people come and go, nice little hidden gem!

Abercrombie Park is a hidden gem! It’s peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a quiet afternoon. The walking trails are well-kept and offer beautiful views of the water and surrounding greenery. There’s a real sense of calm here, and it’s not overly crowded like some other parks.

I must’ve driven by this park a million times in my travels. So glad I intentionally stopped to take in this peaceful park. Small stroll to the water and loved all the trees and nature. There are benches and picnic tables to sit a spell and breathe it all in.
