Affordable Animal Hospital: Compton

This animal hospital was great. Sadly we went to put a little old and sick lady doggie to sleep. The nurse was nice and helpful. The Doctor was very nice and knowledgeable since I had many questions regarding the process and others in general. He was very helpful and answered all of them. He also seemed genuinely compassionate and nice especially given our circumstances. The price was very accessible. I called other places and it seemed like they were just trying to rip people off and making business out of a hard situation, but this hospital was honest in pricing and caring. Thank you so much.

I was very nervous after reading the reviews online, but turns out they were very wrong. Everyone there was nice. my cat Itachita, has had diarrhea and eyeboogers. when they checked, it was fast and they pointed out that switching her food was most likely the cause of diarrhea. which i had NO IDEA that could happen. thankfully they were not judgy and told me if i wanted to still check for parasites im more than welcome to. which i did. They are very cheap. everything all together came out to around $250 which included the parasite test, and eye test to make sure there was no scratches or straining, her medications (she got two) , as well as her exam. For me THATS CHEAP. I used to go to another vet clinic that would've charged me $600 for that. (and they said they were low cost) Seriously guys, don't do walk ins just make an appointment to save your time because majority of the reasons why it takes so long to get to you IS BECAUSE YOU DIDNT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Overall i do feel like they did it pretty fast, i felt a little iffy but they told me that i can do test to assure me and my little fluffy baby.

A stray kitten came into my yard with a respiratory infection, when I got to the hospital I was told by the vet that the kitten was beyond help he seemed annoyed when I asked how much would it be to try and help him and he said in the thousands, not even given a number to start he just said thousands, he seemed like he just wanted to go the easier route, I didn’t want the kitten to keep hurting so I agreed. After that I was given a price to put the kitten down which included me getting the ashes back then when the aid came in she said the crematory would contact me with the price and how to pick up the ashes, but I was told the ashes were in included in the price I was given initially, when I asked the woman she said it didn’t then i told her she told me it was included then she went to ask and they were included in the price by then I told her I didn’t want to come back and just to not include me getting ashes back, it seemed to me like I was going to have an issue with the payment when it came time to pick up the ashes. I didn’t want to deal with them ever again. I regret not getting my little guys ashes I only knew him for about 4 days but i loved him. This hospital staff shows no empathy and lacks tact when speaking about having to put an animal to sleep. I will never be back to this hospital, I have 4 cats and should an emergency happen I will take my business where they care about all animals regardless if they are strays or not. No I’m sorry no nothing I had to ask if I could go pay since I was just left in the room they didn’t even let me be with him while they put him to sleep so he passed with strangers, my heart is broken and I’m disgusted by the service he was given which wasn’t free!

I took my dog to the affordable Animal hospital!! The vet Doctor was awesome he went above and beyond to help my bady/ 🐕. The nurses were very caring we received great quality Care something you don't receive very often anymore in the Healthcare setting anymore. Our hospital bill was reasonable without breaking the bank. I truly appreciate Affordable Animal hospital in Compton!! Thank you,

We just took a stray dog and for a chip check. The office personnel was very nice and very accommodating. Don't know about their other services but they seem like they would do a good job.
