January 3, 2026 went to Al Lopez park to walk my dog 🐶 along the trail. Tons of little trails throughout, they also have a nice dog park. Parking 🅿️ is free 🆓 and the park is very well maintained and clean!

Large park with great paved walking paths, two ponds, a nature trail, exercise loop, playground equipment for multiple age levels, water bottle refill station and water fountains, a storybook loop, multiple pavilions, restrooms. Plenty of quiet corners with tables or benches.

Al López park is a huge park with so much to do! They’ve got shaded, scenic walking trails, a fishing pier, covered and uncovered picnic areas, playgrounds for children toddler ages and up, a large, paved walking path, and a large grassy areas for kids to run and play. It’s also a great park for children’s birthday parties, and they allow inflatable bounce houses! They have festivals there as well; they had the Taco festival in February, and the Cuban festival in April. The park truly has something for everyone!

I liked this park for a great pass as couples or as a family. Well maintained place, lots of pine trees. Good walking paths, people run and ride bikes, lots of shelters, but you need to book them in advance, lots of picnic areas, barbecues, lots of parking, places to play sports, signs for sports, lots of benches with beautiful views, a couple of lakes where alligators live, a pier where you can fish, drinking fountains, a large playground and public restrooms. Attention for dog owners! The dog park is unfortunately closed until June, there is a sign at the entrance to the park.
