Nice dog park, large field is pretty big for dogs to play and run. Has a smaller field for smaller dogs and a dog run area as well. Friendly atmosphere, has a dog water station and a rinse off area near the entrance. Poop bags typically provided (but keep some handy, dispensers can sometimes be empty). Can be a bit muddy during the wet months so be ready for that! all and all it's a good place, just wish Albany had more than one dog park in the entire city.

5 star for the variety of dog runs, and for being fenced in, and also for having water access for drinking. 4 stars for being kind of just dirt areas, which the dogs don't mind, but it would be nice if it had more patches of grass, but it really isn't terrible... in the summer anyway. Went back in January and there is a mushy mud pit. It would be nice to have more bark around or something. The reason we go to this park the most is that there are 3 runs. One for big dogs, onw for little dogs, and one for... I don't know "other" but you hardly see anyone in there. The big dog run will usually have little dogs in it that can hold their own. If you have a dog that is reactive, this could be a good place to work on training them for their reactivity because the fence is chain link and you can sit in the big field next to the dog run without being in with the other dogs, while trying to train for reactivity. The main/big dog run is pretty good sized and my dogs love it. The people in the park (with their dogs) are usually very good about reactive dogs. There's a little pond next to the park where people seems to fish a lot. There are benches in some of the dog runs, but I've either missed them in the big run, or there are just metal chairs in the big run. There are port-a-potties available, if you're desperate.

This is the best dog park I have ever been to period there is a lake for the dogs to swim in in an off-leash area as well as a large area for the dogs to play in which is divided into large and small. There's a watering station poop bags and several entrances and exits. It's a great size and surrounded by a very beautiful Park

I come here with my two dogs as much as possible. It does get very muddy during winter and spring but my Labrador LOVES the mud and water so I dont mind. Very large areas for dogs to run. It would be good to have a light out there for winter time. Hard to see picking up poop when leaving too late.
