Pretty pathway that was once the old train tracks , the view is fantastic during the fall and spring . Caution though watch out for the bike riders not a lot of space and they can tend to zoom by

It's a pleasant walk, start at Davis Sq in one direction you can get too Alewife Station,in the opposite direction you can get too Maxwell Green, this a fairly new development, used to be a cardboard box factory.Made packaging for industry and military. You can read the history of the plant , there,or Google for more info.. Very interesting 🤔

Linear park is great for walking, cycling and dog walking. It passes by the Alewife station which has bluebikes hub.The path is covered by canopy of trees. There is a children's play area near the Alewife end of the park. It passes by a pond where I could spot some beautiful water lillies.

Overall this is a great place to run, walk, or bike. The linear park was constructed following the completion of the redline extension in the late 1980s and was at the time an innovative use of space. However today many of the fixtures and landscaping could use some attention and reinvestment
