I can't wait to visit again when the park is in full bloom. There is plenty to do and see. There is a playground for kids. Next to the lake with BBQ grills, picnic tables and fishing. There is a historical plantation house to walk through and several trails and gardens to linger in.

Beautiful gardens, highly recommend if you can catch them in mid Feb to mid March, camellias, azaleas, saucer magnolias, live oaks, Spanish moss, probably one of the prettiest spots in Tallahassee. Highly recommend.

Stunning scenery, just wished we could have enjoyed it more. The garden charges $6 per person (not per vehicle as on the website) during January - April, per the sign at the gate. So we paid $12 to walk around while 2 weddings took place and without being told at the gate, we would have turned around otherwise instead of going in… Just make sure you call ahead of time to see if there will be any events going on which might influence your choice to visit the garden at the state park and pay for nothing lol. Very beautiful garden though.

Six dollar per car entrance fee. Went to the picnic area and hung out for a spell. It is a very serene and quiet experience. I imagine heaven is like this.

This is a calm, romantic, inspiring park. Is more an homage to beautiful flowers and love itself. Go and spend some time alone and find the peace inside you!
