Alms Park is one of my favorite spots for photo shoots, and this fall I had the privilege to photograph a wedding here! Absolutely stunning space, and you can’t beat that view. Love the Premier Park Events.

It's a beautiful park with two overlooks, one down over the Ohio River and another out over Lunken Airport. There's a nice playground and the stone building is cool too. A big issue though - two separate times in my short visit people had their dogs off leash and the dogs were roaming all over the place, one was a German Shepherd with a prong collar. I even thought he had got loose at first, before the owners slowly appeared way behind him. I saw a different couple with their two small dogs ON leash activity avoiding the off-leash dogs and looking nervous. I talked to them about it when I passed and they said they were concerned for their own dogs' safety, which makes total sense. If there are leash ordinances or rules, they're not being enforced at this park, or people don't know or don't care.

It hard to belive that I haven't been to Alms Park in over a half century. We used to come here often because Pop-up grew at the bottom of the hill. I still remember my first snow sled ride and the stone slide about 60 years ago.

Lovely park with views of the Ohio River and Lunkin Airport. Nice benches to sit at and a playground for children. Bathrooms are generally available in the pavilion. Tranquil space! Parking is on the left side of the street, no lots are available.

Beautiful park that has scenic views of the surrounding area from the hilltop observation area. The park is very well maintained and also has a pavilion, trails, playground, shelter house, and restrooms.
