Great off leash park! It's fun being across the stadium. Lots of students riding bikes and scooters by which Hoot & Holler used to chase. Park can be very muddy during winter months. People seem to do a good job of picking up after their dogs. I've met alot of friendly dog owners here. There are lots of benches scattered throughout the park with water and poop bags. During the summer we would go to the small river and the dogs would cool off.

This is our go to dog park! The locals are great, people's dog are pretty well behaved, indie always has a great time with smells, herding, and barking lol. We always go to this park at least 2 to 4 times a week! Could get busy at times but thats when its most fun for the dogs to make friends! Mix of large and small dogs all together, very large space for walking inside, and still have space for thr dogs to play. There are some picnic tables for people to sit on, no bathrooms - they are on the other end of the park. Lots of trails near by!

Being as my canine companion Elsa and I travel all over the Northwest from my job, it goes without saying that we stopped by a lot of dog parks and check them out. Alton Baker dog park has been one of our favorites for the last 6 months since we discovered it. It's in a great location where you feel safe and secure, there's ample parking, there's a beautiful walk across the bridge and River to get to the park which is only a very short distance, and once there we are always greeted by friendly talkative people and their sweet playful companions. In the five times that we have been there over the last year, there's only been one incident of an aggressive dog and he and its owner were kindly asked to leave the park buy several regulars. I appreciate this because it felt as if we had a sense of security and order in the Park which means a lot to me. All in all it is a wonderful Park I certainly wish we had one closer to where I live in Crescent City but for now I'll just look forward to making this short drive off interstate 5 each and every time I drive by Eugene Oregon.

Great dog park! Well maintained and not too muddy. There are lots of friendly dogs for my gentle giants to play with. Water hose access and poop bags provided if you forget yours. Nice open areas for dogs to play and run with a trail around the outside for us humans to get some walking in if we so choose. There are a couple benches and picnic tables to rest on and some shady areas when the sun is hot. This is my favorite dog park in town!
