Really nice, no-frills neighborhood park! Perfect for a quick walk, letting the kids run around, or just relaxing on a bench under the trees. The playground is decent-sized and well-maintained—lots of open space, which is great for active play without feeling overcrowded. It's clean, people are friendly, and the whole vibe is peaceful and community-oriented. Restrooms are available (always a plus), and it's dog-friendly too if you're bringing a pup. Only downside is it could use a bit more shade in some spots during hot Houston summers, but overall a solid local gem.

Nice open space. Lots of soccer on weekends. Decent sized playground. Only downside is land maintenance lacks and people that use the park should be more courteous and clean up after themselves.

It's been a while since I've visited Gatlin's and I have no idea why. The cue is so dang good: fall off the bone ribs, tender and juicy brisket...what else does one need?

This is a local park with an open field and a picnic table close to the railroad tracks
