Anchor Park is such a nice spot to stop and enjoy some fresh air. Great place to walk the dog and take in the surroundings. The park is located near the railroad tracks, but there is a fence, which made us feel very comfortable and safe. There are several neighborhoods nearby and we saw many people walking their dogs and kids playing on the playground. It felt very safe walking our dog here. They also have bathrooms, which is always a plus. Plenty of parking and a really nice, peaceful place to spend some time.

Loved that they had a bunch of toys (mainly trucks and tractors) in the sand pit for kids to play with!

It's a scenic pretty family park for us by the river. My daughter does her soccer practice here as well. I saw kids having baseball practice in the baseball field too. Restrooms are clean and well-equipped. You'll find a sand pit and playground for little kids and fish docs, fields, pavilions and neat trails. Grills are available in pavilions. A dog-friendly park as well. A perfect place to have a quality family time.

Nice park next to the water with sand pits to dig in, a decent sized playground, and swings. I don’t like how far away the swings are from the main playground, there is no fence, and the bathrooms are across the parking lot from the playground. Keep those things in mind when bringing younger kiddos.

We love taking our 2 year here. Clean restrooms, all the play equipment is intact and there are more donated toys there than he knows that to do with
