We adopted two kittens from Arf this past weekend and could not have had a better experience. Melissa who works there is amazing. We were driving a bit further from Indy and she stayed after they closed to ensure we could come see the kittens! We came home that day with Suki and Momo and couldn't be happier. The adoption process was easy and we love that our cats are already spayed/neutered and chipped.
I first looked to ARF in 2024 when I decided to adopt a cat. I needed another emotional support animal for health reasons. I looked at several bios of different cats. One day I saw the cat that Ik was perfect for me. I spoke with Melissa and she agreed that Manny was the perfect cat for me. I adopted Manny without even meeting him. They brought him to me. He is the best cat that I have ever known. I can't say enough about ARF. They gave me the best give of all. Thank you ARF!
My girlfriend had a meet and greet with Ozzy this last Saturday they were open from 12-3 so 3 hours the workers watched the interaction between her and Ozzy she proceeded to fill out application cause the worker had stated she really thought she stood a good chance of adopting Ozzy but not to get her hopes up because you just never no I understand that we noticed Sunday that arf posted Ozzy was pending adoption my girlfriend messaged or emailed arf and got the email this morning that no she wasn't the one that was chosen but you look on arf page as of 9 pm tonight still shows he's pending last year my girlfriend surrendered a dog that the lady working at arf said he wouldn't even make it to the adoption floor because he was going home with her now what gives her the right to not have to go through the same process as my girlfriend did and all the others that applied for Ozzy arf sent her an email that stated they thought they had a deaf dog or a pocket bully she could try and adopt she didn't fill out application for either of those dogs never even met them she only met Ozzy very disappointed that an adoption place does what they want to and gives false hope to people SMH by the way my girlfriend's name is Darlene bills not sure what the name of the woman was that decided she was taking a dog home that my girlfriend surrendered told her this dog WILL NOT see adoption process!!!
First time there today. Took in an ex feral kitten. Process was easy & staff were very nice. Answered questions I had. Looking forward to working with them in the near future. Thank you ARF for helping me help the needy creatures ♡ Happy Holidays!
These guys are great. They were very supportive when I called about a problem my kitties were having with itching. I've checked the kitties for fleas and can't find any. They suggested that the kitties might be allergic to the red dye in the kibble and thought it might be good to switch to something else. Plus they have me a flea treatment just in case. Fingers crossed!
