Such a beautiful spot to hike! Park rangers are super sweet and friendly as well. Absolutely enjoyed all the areas . Be sure to wear sunscreen cause you will be exposed to direct sunlight a majority of the time !

Fantastic recreation area. Plenty of open space to breathe, plenty of wooded areas for shade. Incredible biodiversity, thanks in part to the range and abundance of microclimates in the park. Great spot for photos, birding, biking, hiking, and seasonal field herping.

It’s a great place for a hike that’s not too hard. The best time to go is right before sunset!

Lots of parking at the nature center and long PATH trails or you can go up the mountain, but I prefer the trails.. Mostly pretty shady though there are some longer stretches closer to Stonecrest Library that are in the full sun.

The wife and I love this place, very nice place to walk, hike, and ride your bike. The people on the walkways are always very friendly. The weather was great the pictures were taken on 9-21-2020 so beautiful and peaceful.
