Really great park with really great people. Everyone's welcoming, helpful and responsible. Clean park, 99% free of dog poo left laying around, at least one the small dog side.

Armitage is our go-to park with our pup. This is a Lane County Park and does require either a day use fee or a park pass. The area is usually very clean. They provide doggy bags for waste and several garbage cans scattered about the area. The ground is typically covered in bark or grasses which helps with issues with mud, but it's not always perfect during very wet and rainy Oregon weather. There are plenty of large trees that provide good shade in the summer and that drop leaves in the fall, which are always fun to play in. You will also find picnic tables/benches to sit at or for smaller dogs to hide under. There are some hide and seek shelters and often there are a few tennis balls and other toys about for dogs to discover and play with. The people are always friendly and dogs are typically well behaved. There is plenty of space for dogs to run, play together, or have solitary play time with their owners. I especially enjoy walking laps on the trail around the inner perimeter of the park. Exercise and good fun for all. Restrooms are not near the dog park area, but can be found on site if needed.

Good size dog park divided for smalling and larger dogs. I've never had any problems with the other dogs in this park. Some of the other winds in Eugene I've had problems with dogs picking on mine. The trees also add some nice shade, it's just a great place to take your dog. Don't forget there also trails along the river if you just want to go for a walk.

miserable blonde old lady with a raspy smokers voice goes to the small dog park and thinks she runs the place. told us that our dog is too big to be in the small dog area although he is within the weight requirement. we weren’t going to sit there and argue about it because she ruined the vibes anyway. unfortunately we won’t be going back. fix your attitude before you take your dogs please, others are trying to enjoy their time as well.

This is a great place to take your dogs. All the peoplAll the people are friendly. All the dogs are friendly. The only problem is sometimes when it's nice because the dogs will get a lot of mud on their paws and people walk around the perimeter for exercise.
