Armory Dog Park in Passaic is a rather smallish facility for dogs as dog parks go, with practical maneuvering room for fewer than five dogs in the large dog area, and not more than three in the small dog side. There is good exercise and agility equipment on the large dog area, but it can get cramped for the smaller ones. Problems can arise though, as I have witnessed some dogs not being cleaned up after, and I have also observed on more than one occasion, kids actually running around loose, climbing the equipment in the large dog area, while their dog was in the small section. Fortunately, there were no other dogs in the park at the moment, but still, what if someone else had brought a big dog in? Parents and owners must observe rules and courtesies, otherwise trouble can potentially ensue.

Really good dog park, fenced It is too small dog park in case if ever bring a big dog that could not fit. Even if it's just visiting the dog park. Very nice though. Please clean up after dog. Obtain the necessary tools for pickup. There are dog poop pick up bags from the pet stores. There are dog products ( dog poop bags) and Pet Waste Bags. You could find and order online. You could also wear disposable gloves. Wash your hands thoroughly after every dog waste collection session, even if you wore disposable gloves.

A great place to let your dog run around with dog toys. Other dogs may be present.

People just come here to smoke. The people that bring their dogs here don’t clean up after them. People bring their aggressive dogs here and get mad when your dog is trying to play with theirs. I hate it here but it’s the closest fenced field I can take my dog to
