It's a cute little park right across from the Art museum. You can make a day out for it by visiting the museum and then hanging at the park for a bit. There is a huge mural, a few statues and a bug Christmas tree during holiday season which present good photo opportunities. The alleys behind the park also have picnic lights - beautiful place to just bring a picnic or to walk past.
The Arts Park itself is a nice oasis in the heart of Allentown. Lots of shaded areas to sit (either on picnic tables or grass lawn), and the fountain is a nice touch. The Arts Walk, however, was nothing more than a sketchy alley with bistro lights. Lots of people panhandling and cat-calling. I felt unsafe walking alone in the middle of the day, and will definitely not be returning.
Arts Park rocks! It is a beautiful & serene location, well tended to by city workers so it maintains its magnificent looks! There are also tons of events held here with happy people that enjoy everything it has to offer including seating, a water fountain ⛲, concerts, green space, etc. etc. IF YOU HAVEN'T MADE IT TO ARTS PARK YOUR NOT LIVING IT UP IN ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA!
super cool I loved seeing all the creative art pieces as you walk around. a good amount of food establishments are near by and a museum is across the street !
Such a beautiful small park. It is nice to go on a lovely sunny warm day and take a stroll. There are a few statues for viewing while looking at the fantastic art along the way. Very artsy and creative space. Also a nice place to snap a photo, video for vlogging, blogging if you're a content creator like myself! 👍🏾
