Austin Fitzgerald Memorial Dog Park

Been here a handful of times and it's decent... reasonable amount of shade, different parks for small and big dogs, usually nice dogowners. It's pretty dusty so that's a bummer. My main complaint/concern is that on 2 occasions dog fights broke out and both times the owners were very slow to react. One because they were engrossed/distracted by their phone and the second time simply not caring. The reaction of other dogowners made it clear this was unacceptable behavior but it is still a "second-choice" dog park for me because of those 2 incidents.

Three parks for Dogs in all. Big, little and medium. Sand and no grass, some shade though. No lighting early in the morning so bring a flashlight, my dogs love chasing bikes and runners who run by the park on the Rillito Trail.

Nice clean and safe dog park. There are three separate pens.
