Love it here, come here every week, sometimes both days on the weekends. I do wish the pier was fixed and there should be some extra signage or enforcement over feeding the ducks or throwing and tampering with the rocks and habitats, there is a significant problem with younger teenagers with the latter. I also think large speakers should not be allowed or should be designated to a place further away from the pond. During our last visit we were driven away by a group having a large party blasting dance music with a speaker on wheels half my size. It's not only disruptive to the guests who want a quiet park but also distressing to the animals who live there.

Great park. Although, it has been deteriorated in the last couple of years which has a lot to do with the people who use the facilities. Las night you could see a lot of snack wrappers and plastic bottles surrounding the pond. Now more and more dog owners won’t respect and follow the basic recommendations. They just don’t pick up their pets poop regardless there are bags provided at gates in case they don carry them. They bring toddlers inside the dog’s designated areas assuming it is a child’s playground. Others bring aggressive pets inside, unleash them and forget about them. They also leave trash behind on the benches or wherever they suit to but the trash cans. Pretty sad watching all vestiges of civility have been lost around here. It seems like they take for granted the park is there just for them individually and that someone else has the obligation to clean up the mess they left behind.

It's pretty nice and peaceful it's big but not huge. Very welcoming and love all the ducks and different birds they have turtles wa entertained for a bit. Does get packed with a lot of people like the fact they have tables to picnic or just to sit and relax.

Great family friendly place. We love it here! We bring our 3 kids all the way from Starr County to blow steam, and then we go out for a cold treat. Highly recommend.

Great place to get your walk, run , etc. 3 laps equals 2 miles. Whoever is responsible should work on improving the pond area. You have wildlife dependent on it.
