I recently moved to this area and finally decided to check out this park! It is well equipped with a skate park, soccer fields, a basketball court, hockey rink, ponds, a splash pad, a playground, a park office with bathrooms, and lastly my favorite - the dog park! I have visited this dog park twice and it really is a nice escape from busy streets and noises. The dog park has two fenced sections - one for large dogs and one for small dogs, making it inviting for different sizes of dogs. Both sections of the dog park have obstacles, double gates for security, a hose, a water bowl, picnic tables, benches, and water fountain for both human and dog. There are additional trash cans and poop bags as well. There is also a decent amount of shade.

We took our dogs to Barber Park Dog Park for the first time, and it was such a great experience! The weather was beautiful, making it the perfect day to be outside. There was plenty of parking, which made things easy. We loved that the park has separate areas for small and large dogs, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all pups. The space is huge, very clean, and has plenty of seating areas, including shaded spots to cool off. We stayed for about an hour, and there were lots of other small dogs for ours to interact and play with. They had an amazing time, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place to enjoy some skating in the afternoon! It wasn't crowded, the bathrooms were clean, and the rink is nice and smooth just like places where you have to pay. Highly recommend for skating! 🛼

Clean park, has a splash pad, playground, basketball courts, and even a hockey rink. Park is pretty well spaced out with plenty of parking around if needed. Easy to access, splash pad is gated for added security, safety for younger ones. Bring an umbrella as there isn’t a ton of shade.
