This park is less than 5 minutes from my apartment and my dog and I have spent hundreds of hours here over 3+ years. He absolutely loves it and loves playing with the other regulars. Tons of room to run, a separate small dog area, water fountains, poop bags and maintained garbage cans, park provided toys, benches for owners, Halloween/Easter/Christmas events, etc. I will seriously miss this park if I move away from the area. The mosquitos are brutal in the late evening during summer and that’s not the parks fault just a warning.. also there’s no bathrooms for people but there are some right “next door” at the towpath trail.

I brought my trio of Golden Retrievers here and met a wonderful group of fellow dog owners who frequent the park. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and has everything your dogs need to enjoy themselves during your visit.

Really a great overall Dog Park in the Akron, OH area. Two separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. Benches for people, fenced, grass, and what I liked the most was a water spigot. The spigot had concrete bowls for dog dishes to clean out and fill with water. Good group of dogs and a cool walking trail nearby which looks beautiful with the fall season foliage. Restrooms nearby if needed.

This park is an awesome place for your dog if you feel like they've been inside too much and just don't have a good yard to run around in. All the other people that bring their dogs here are usually super friendly, as well as their dogs. I will say though that some things need repaired there, such as one of the benches along the side of the fence. It seems to be pretty damaged and I could see a dog getting stabbed while playing (or even just a person if they aren't careful). Once that sort of stuff is fixed I would bring this back up to a 5/5 for sure

Love this place! An awesome time with dogs & nice experience conversing with other dog owners! Everyone was polite, kind, & respectful to one another! I wish it were this way no matter where we go! This doggie play ground is a brilliant idea, that really works quite well! I felt a sense of community here that I've not experienced any where else honestly. A pleasant breath of fresh air for my pup & myself as well! I wish my own community had one of these parks to take our dogs to!
