Is this a city maintained park? I know the LBGTQ+ has a plaque as a sponsor, but are they to maintain it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think that was the case. For a bark park that's rarely used for dogs, it stays dirty and with mud puddles. Popped locks and cracked open gates so pups can escape. Trash and glass throughout. Prepare to bath your pup after a visit at some point, and make sure your pup is up to date on all shots. Great portraits throughout with poorly maintained grounds. And that's absolutely sad because there's so much space for Dallas city pups to run in the middle of the city! This community's apartment/ condo pups need and deserve a well maintained running/play space right here in this space, Deep Ellum. Another reason for pet lovers NOT to live in the city... historic downtown Dallas. This is a one rating because google does not allow any lower. This park needs a health/ safety inspection yesterday!

The whole place smelled strongly of urine, and it didn't smell like dog urine... the homeless guy bathing in the water fountain didn't lend any comfort. There was no else there except the homeless guy and my dog with me, and the gate was swinging open, so I kinda felt some kind of way about letting my dog off leash.... when I did she wasn't impressed and was ready to go fairly quickly. I'm not sure what I had hoped for from an inner city dog park, but I guess I couldn't ask much.

Take my dogs daily for past 2 yrs. City is planting new trees and spreading Mulch. Love it

Used to be my favorite spot in Dallas walk my dogs and meet fellow dog owners and community members. Now overrun by homeless and druggies. Who wants to walk passed that every day? Such a shame. City and Parks don’t seem to want to do anything. HELP the local community.

My Aussie and I stumbled upon this dog park after we attempted to visit White Rock Dog Park (it was closed)... it's very loud as it's under major freeways (Deep Ellum)...Buddy had a lot of fun though... everyone was very friendly.
