I have to travel/work in Henderson and I take my 2 Beagles with me. This place is a gem!! Great design and secure. It’s so clean, shaded, running water, water park. It’s size specific, which my dogs like all dogs, but some do better in other ways. There’s a couple cranky attendees, but not aggressive. The other fur baby owners are pleasant, social and treat your dogs kindly. There’s always a few on the other side of the spectrum, at most parks, but not here, really. Very happy to have found this. It allows my dogs to run and play before having to stay in a hotel room for the night 🐶🐶 Update: I usually take my dogs during early morning weekdays, before work and before it gets hot, but this trip I have had to stay longer. We went on 2 separate Sundays, once at 7:30 am and the at 11:30 am (beautiful weather wasn’t hot). Sunday early morning wasn’t a pleasant experience. This is one of the dreaded crowds that I had never been around there and thought that they didn’t exist…well they do. If your dog barks and likes to play and doesn’t yap and snip at everything, if you’re not up in years and neither is your dog…I would wait until 9:00-930ish.
This is one of the nicest dog parks in Henderson. It's on the outskirts of Henderson on the southeast side. There are several different enclosures with one that has a splash pad in the summer for dogs. In the winter the grass is brown but they keep it looking pretty nice in the spring and summer. The enclosure for the large dogs is big and they can run like crazy back-and-forth, back-and-forth. There is a separate enclosure where you can practice agility with your dogs too. There are lights on in the evening at the park so you can easily bring your dog here after work.
It's wonderful, great place for dogs and their humans. It's our favorite 👍
It's a good park for children & families. It has a huge playground area and large grass area for play. I went there with my dogs & the enclosed dog play area for small dogs was okay, but not large enough for running & play. There's not much parking, but this must be a small local area park for that neighborhood.
Very nice park reasonably clean some of the agility course needs some TLC and repair unfortunately. Overall one of the better parks in Vegas area.
