Really wish there was a warning of some sort before you drive 30+ minutes across town only to arrive and realize there’s a ridiculous list of requirements, a paid membership and physical key card is required. Not to mention who gets anything more than rabies??? Sure hope this wasn’t built with tax payer dollars.
Not a local, but must come to this park. We had difficulty finding a place for my dog to run around and this is the perfect place. You will have to go to West Colombia city hall to get a key fob for $25, but it's good for a year!
I live two minutes from this park and was so excited to take my dog there, but unfortunately, the list of requirements is insane. First of all, I’ve never heard of a dog park that you have to pay for. I hope this park was not built with taxpayer funds. Secondly, I only give my dog rabies vaccination as she is an indoor only dog. When I took her to get micro chipped, I let the Humane Society recommend what vaccination she needed and those are the ones that she got. So that means that this dog park requires more vaccinations than the Humane Society recommends. That seems insane to me. Very disappointing
Lovely new dog park in West Columbia. It isn't the biggest but I love the way they integrated some agility in the park. It isn't just a flat open park. The ONLY thing it is missing is shade! I got out and took my male husky up there today. He thoroughly enjoyed it!
Ryder loves it 🥰 and it’s so close to our house! Yes, you have to be a member but the pricing is very reasonable. Only $25 for first two dogs and $10 a dog after that.
