Really fun and unique place to take your dogs. Owner is very helpful and friendly. My dogs had a great time, the swimming pond is so fun. The place in general is beautiful and has great views. I’m glad they offer private rental times as my one dog is unfortunately not a fan of other dogs. I will deff be back. If you’re there buy some of the bug spray they sell for humans and dogs! It’s the best and it smells amazing.
Barkby Plungers is fantastic for dogs. Her dock diving facility is perfect. She takes care of her property. I never felt uneasy about someone invading my special time with my dog. She has a nice covered area to be out of the hot sun. The area is completely fenced, including the driveway. You don't have to worry about your dog running off the property. Dori helped me fine-tune my first dog's skills. Faith would dock dive until she got exhausted and still wanted more.
This is such a great spot for quality time with your pup(s)! I took my Springer Spaniel to Barkby Plungers for his first birthday. Dori is very kind and professional. The property is clean and beautiful. She gives you everything you need; doggie life jackets, toys, hand sanitizer, insect repellent, nets to get toys your dog won't retrieve, beverages, sitting areas, shade, pooper scooper, dog poop bags... The only thing you really need is your dog and a towel or two! I will absolutely be going again. Prince didn't want to leave.
Took my 5 month old golden retriever to Barkby’s today to see if she liked the water. She had a blast splashing in their pond and playing with the other dogs. Owners are great! We will definitely be back!
The best day with your best friend, indeed! If you have a dog and haven't been to Barkby Plungers you are missing out. I took my 3 dogs to the August puppy social and it was the best day. There is a doggy swimming pond with dock diving, an agility playground, and lure coursing! I can't wait to take my one dog back for more lure coursing! They have puppy socials scheduled for September and October which is a great day to bring your dogs and meet some other people. They are also open daily with hourly rates.
