A large metal dog with a swing underneath it, why not?! Drove past this in downtown Santa Fe and had to stop. Made of metal siding the dog stands approximately 12 feet (3.7 meters) high and on a warm day can offer respite from the sun (try to catch the shade at the right time). Always enjoy discovering unexpected street art and this big ol’ dog is no exception. By the way, no need to fear, this dog does not bite.
So cool! We were driving by and actually stopped, dug up change in the whip for the parking meter, and basically put our day on halt so we could sit in this guy. Possibly the best five minutes of the trip.
Loved it. Sat and read on the swing for a while.
We had a moment here; It was peaceful, very dear; Swinging and swinging; Smiling and singing; No possessions, nothing to hog; Friends in love, beneath this metal dog.
What a fun sculpture to take pictures with!
