Was literally there today to twist balloons for a 5-year-old's birthday party... Along with my face painter We were underneath the picnic area which is huge it has many many picnic tables underneath a beautiful beautiful roofed area It was clean nice and large The three things you need for the perfect party. Sadly I didn't take any pictures because I was busy my hands were full I was twisting balloons

Been to this park a couple times and still discovering it. -We've taken classes here from Monterey Park Parks and Rec for the kids -We've been to party at the benches near the playground. -Lovely playground for littles and bigger kiddos as well. Not completely shaded. Rubber soft padding. Swings and slides. -Parks & Rec uses the big grassy field for Easter egg hunt -i think there's tennis and a pool but haven't experienced. -Small Parking lot at the north end, Street parking all around, not sure if there's another parking lot at the South end because that's where the police station is. -Big slope at the north end if you're walking around it but flat halfway down.

It is a very active park. Lots of sport activities going on. People walking, excersing children on the playground. Seniors dancing. It's very beautiful, love the atmosphere. (The only negative thing I think and worries me is a man that goes to the playground every day and sits on the bench and watches the children play. He does not have any children playing there. He gives the children balloons and cookies that are not in a package. I find his behavior a little unsettling. Beware of him. He is an older man with white hair and beard ! )
