⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Barney Wood Dog Park has been an absolute game-changer for me and my dog, Jade. Since rescuing her, this park has been one of the best places to help her socialize with other dogs and burn off that much-needed puppy energy. There’s so much space to run, play, and explore, and you get to see all kinds of awesome dogs every time you visit. The layout makes it easy for dogs to play freely while owners can relax and enjoy the environment. Jade especially loves the water features — it’s easily her favorite part of the park and such a great bonus, especially on warmer days. You can tell a lot of thought went into making this park fun, safe, and engaging for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. If you’re looking for a clean, spacious, and welcoming dog park in Farmers Branch, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! 🐾💙

Two individuals brought two dogs that were clearly not appropriate for the large dog park and refused to leave after multiple large-dog owners politely informed them of the rules. Instead of cooperating, they verbally insulted other dog owners and made intimidating remarks, implying that they come to this park two to three times every week and will continue to do so regardless of the rules or others’ concerns. This felt threatening and dismissive, especially in a shared public space meant to be safe for everyone. This behavior created unnecessary tension and posed a potential safety risk for both dogs and people. I hope park management can enforce the rules more consistently to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Nice dog park! Divided between Big dogs and Medium/ Small dogs. Plenty of room for your dog to run. Dog owners were responsible and picked up poo with the provided doggie bags. A small splash pad will keep your pet cooled off. A provided water dish that can be filled with fresh water. There were two covered benches up front and covered benches with w/tables in the back. No other shaded area while we were there. There were public bathrooms, but, I forgot to check them out!

My small dog is a rescue. After 4 years, he for the first time liked this dog park. He actually played with other dogs for the first time . The park is really nice. There are clean bathrooms. The big dog park is next to the small park. It was good fun Phoenix to see the big dogs and feel safe. I will definitely be back. Thank you

Beautiful, large dog park. Everyone seemed nice and unpretentious. Got tired of the old lady at Paws Colinas so I think this may be our new park.
