It's nice if you're into fishing. Set up perfect for fisher men and women. Bathrooms for both. Changing table in women's restroom. Handicap parking. And access to restrooms. Benches for seating. A cute house for bats and information about them. Vending machine too. Tried to get the dolphins. Hard to see but they were across the bay from us.

Clean Restrooms and dock to fish off fish cleaning station. Not much for anyone to do but watch fishermen and sunrise! Love it they painted murals and now have a soda machine (smart!)

The view is beautiful, the facilities are clean and well maintained. The road to get here is a two lane road, and construction crews are still working to rebuild and clean up after a series of hurricanes beat up the people of Matlacha so be patient as there can be a long line of traffic in and out of Matlacha. I think that either pressure on the fishery or the aftermath of the hurricane changed fishing here a bit. I had a line in the water for 4 hours, tried multiple well established baits and methods and did not get a bite. I noticed that there were not recent reviews about fishing here and thought I might update the current situation. It is the time of year that the water is cooler here and that might have affected how they were biting. It's a beautiful place with a ton of places to fish. Please support local businesses, there is a beautiful bait shop on the way into Matlacha and locally owned restaurants to eat here as well!

Nice fishing spot is just really hard to fish there due to the amount of people

One of the smallest official parks I ever seen. Great fishing spot but parking is extremely limited.
