the place was clean and quiet. that day when I was there it was a bit cold and not many people, there were clean bathrooms and a small playground for children , there were also some chairs where you could sit.

The new playground is so nice looking and lots of fun for the kiddos.

Bayley Beach is located in Rowayton and is a part of Norwalk 6th taxing district. It is smaller than the other Norwalk beaches and is open to residence of Rowayton who have their Beach stickers. Non-residents can enjoy the beach for a fee of $25 at the gate. The pavilion is a wonderful place for parties and can be rented for various activities. The beach closes at 9 p.m. during the summer hours and no dogs are allowed on the beach property during the summer months. It is kept very clean and is extremely welcoming, there is even a small area located under the pavilion stocked with books if you would like to do some light reading in one of their many lounge chairs. You are allowed to cook at this beach but only in a designated area on beach supplied outdoor grills which utilizes charcoal. there is plenty of parking considering the size of the beach, tennis courts, a baseball field, and on some nights there is even live music.

This place charges $40 if you're not a resident. Talk about the embodiment of class privilege and keeping "others" out. Enjoy the beach and tennis courts, locals...
