This is actually a boat launch on one side of the road with a tunnel going over to the beach house area. It was a great place to wander around with my dog today. It's also a pretty good spot to watch the sunset across the lake. Sadly, the beach itself has been closed for decades. The fence that separates the sand from the grass doesn't go well with the surroundings.
Nice place with lots of room and lots of picnic tables. Nice park for kids across the street at nearby park.
It was a great time plenty of light at night
Great place to go when you need to get out of the house. You can sit in your car or place your chair by your car and not worry about social distancing. Just enjoy the outdoors and watching people on the water.
Another great sunset spot Usually little less busy and more secluded than other places on the lake
