Beautiful park! Just a little hard to find the entrance following google map. Imagine coming here and picnic or camp here in a better weather!

A short video to share with you. https://youtu.be/4qz6XlvezkI?si=m_8Bca36upW_ciKK Various scenes along with the lake and bay. Clouds, mountains, lake, bay, rocks, flowers and trees are all in. Not long but still not very easy to walk through all the trails. A good place to go fishing as well. Fee is required per vehicle. Dogs are allowed. Not crowded and easy to access beside the highway.

Why are there pedestrians walking against traffic all over the 5 mile stretch of this paved road park? You walk with traffic, One Direction, and when you turn around you walk with traffic in the opposite direction. California entitlement/obliviousness at its best.

This is a gem for people who need a good night's sleep. Even though there are only 3 RV camp sites, it's a beautiful place with lots of lavender bushes. Smells pretty. The park is huge and closes at dusk. I think across from the 3 spots you could probably park an rv if not too big and leave by 9am. Lots of health addicts doing runs, jogs, walks and some on skateboards. We drove all the way to the end and saw day use fishing and picnic tables. Use a national parks pass for free. Otherwise it's 12 bucks.

There is a $6 entry fee per car. I am attaching a current map for your convenience. Do try to go all the way to the lookout point and then hike down to the water and then continue by the water until you see the carquinez bridge to your right. It's beautiful! Though I would suggest the park management promptly start working on the dried grass to prevent wildfires and to please get the out-of-service bathrooms running. But overall, it's a good place for a family picnic, a jog, or a hike!
