Hard to get in. The first time we tried to get to the park we were heading East and ended up crossing the bridge, because we could not safely pull in. It was also unclear where to park. We tried again on the way back to Cape Coral and actually pulled into the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce Parking. Didn’t realize that we were at the Bernice Braden Park, because the sign says “ Harneys Point”. The third time we tried, we explored more and saw the sign “ Bernice Braden Park” half way down facing traffic coming into Cape Coral 🤷‍♀️. We did some exploring and saw that this is a pretty nice spot for fishing. You can even go under the bridge to the other side. Next time we will see if it is easier to find access from that side ( even though the GPS insists you pull into the Chamber of Commerce lot). Bonus : There are a few burrowing owls nesting sites.

Simple park with a great taste of coral. Definitely worth the stop and or if you wanted to go fishing also under the bridge.

Bernice Braden Park is one of those hidden gems in Cape Coral that’s perfect if you just want to relax by the water for a bit, the views of the Caloosahatchee River are absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. During the Red, White & Boom festival, the fireworks from here are incredible easily one of the best spots to watch from. Parking is decent and it feels safe and clean. I do wish there were a few benches or shaded areas, but overall, it’s a calm, scenic place that really captures the Cape Coral vibe simple, quiet, and right on the water

Beautiful place to gather with friends, grab a bite to eat and enjoy great water views.

Red white and boom festival was fun. A good place to fish. No seats. No pavilion. No bathroom unless the chamber of commerce lets you use theirs. And the dock is gated and locked so the public can not use it.
