We brought our dogs here today instead of going to Cherry Creek. Coming into the park, the gates were closed, but not latched. It wasn't obvious how the latches worked. It took me a minute to figure it out. Obviously I'm not the only one. The folks that left before us didn't latch the gates either. The off leash area has no surface plants, just dirt, similar to Quincy Reservoir off leash area. This wouldn't be great after any rain or snow, but no worries, we don't get either anymore. On the plus side, this area was MUCH cleaner than Quincy. Seems that most people that come here pick up after their dogs, though not 100%. There are bags and a trash can available. I liked that the park had water bowls attached along the fence next to the pond. They are ready for you to just add water. This isn't a big area, but there are some boulders in one corner for climbing around. The area does have a steep slope between the long sides that makes for great exercise for the dogs running up and down the slope. There is a picnic table or two for anyone that wants to sit. Everyone that was at the dog area was friendly as were their dogs. It was a good visit. We will definitely be back. This is a good dog area to get their energy out when I'm not up for a walk around CC.

Spacious but controlled place to let the dogs run. Fence and gates are in good shape, and a little mix of terrain for the pups.

This off-leash dog park is very close to the Anschutz Medical Campus. It's fairly long and completely fenced; however, the sheep-style fencing might not contain your very small dog. It can get very muddy, as it is almost entirely dirt and built on a hill. At the very southwest corner of the park, there are a few clusters of large rocks, which at one time circled trees. All but one of the trees have completely died and have been cut down. There is one small square picnic table available.

Bicentennial Park Off-Leash Dog Area is a great spot for dogs to run and play freely. The park is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for both large and small dogs. It’s a friendly place with responsible owners and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for regular visits.

5 stars highly recommend if you have a dog who needs to he alone. This park isn't busy like most other dog parks. Unfortunately my baby Rooster 🐓 doesn't fare well with other dogs so being able to take him here and let him spend some time sniffing and running around really helps him alot. There's times when others are visiting and we will just come back later amd its always free.
