Whether you want a flat field to play in, a playground for the kids, a covered shelter for a party, or a good amount of trail for walking or biking, this park is a great place to go. I like to prop up on a picnic blanket and read. The staff here do an amazing job of maintaining the grounds and keeping this place the jewel that it is.

Passed through today with my girlfriend and our dog. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Great place to check out. Clean bathrooms. Disc golf course as well. I wish I brought my disc's. Everyone was friendly. Recommend checking out

It isn't just a "swing set and a bench" kind of park, it’s 60+ acres designed for people who want to move. Here’s why it’s a must-visit for families who can’t sit still. Endless Ways to Move • The Walking Trails: There is a fantastic 1.2-mile paved loop that’s perfect for strollers, scooters, or a family jog. It winds through open fields and wooded areas, so the scenery stays fresh. • Disc Golf: One of the park's standout features is the 18-hole disc golf course. It’s challenging enough for pros but accessible enough for a "family vs. family" friendly competition. • Sports Galore: With soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts, there is almost always a game to join or space to practice drills with the kids. The playground here is great for all ages. Pro tips • Check the Calendar: They often host "Summer Tracks" concerts and outdoor movies. • Pack a Picnic: There are several sheltered pavilions. After a few miles on the trail, you’ll want a spot to refuel. • Bring the Wheels: The paved paths are exceptionally smooth, making it one of the best spots in Henderson County for kids learning to ride bikes.

Was looking for a nice place to do some running and this was the place. Beauty scenery. Has a welll maintained path well paved, the dirt path was smooth as well. So many people out enjoying the day. There are still some areas closed from the storm, but all in all an amazing place to take a stroll, run, or children to play. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!
