The Blackburn II has been renamed The Central Park at Brookleigh. It's a cozy neighborhood park nestled amidst senior housing complexes like Ashford Parkside and Ashford Landing. The park features a quarter-mile paved hiking trail loop, seemingly designed with seniors in mind. Despite its size, the park is meticulously maintained, boasting lovely trees adorned with vibrant flowers.

Small green space with quarter mile paved walking path. Green space, when dry, is used by local residents for quiet sunning. Lots of use by surrounding home owners and apartment dwellers. Now called Central Park at Brookleigh but maintained by Brookhaven Parks Department.

Place to remember the comfort women during World War 2. Google Maps let you drive to Brookleigh Ln NE, but, that place is residential area. Please drive to Durden Rd NE, where you can find a parking space on the street.

Love this park. I play ever day with my son. Little bit to much dog left overs on the ground from lazy people
