This is such a beautiful, huge park. This park is the perfect setting for festival season, which is what brought me here for the very first time yesterday. The officials behind the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival did such a great job organizing the event -- all the way down to the free shuttle service which picked attendees up from various pick-up points. Boyz II Men and NSYNC were the highlights of my first-time experience here.

This was an event for Ghana Fest, a cultural heritage festival for Ghanaian in the diaspora in the state of Georgia. The section of the park had clear open space. Hilly , and to use the bathroom we walked into the Tennis Center. This is the second time they have used this park for Ghana Fest and we had a good ole time.

Had the pleasure of walking my niece there. It’s safe, has plenty of events, and offers easy access.

I used to frequent this park when my daughter was younger because she was in the Girls on the Run program. So it's been several yrs since I've been. I must say they have done an amazing job of adding on to this park! They have more playgrounds (updated the old as well). They've added restrooms as well as more paved walking paths. There's a lot of tree coverage as well, so that's helpful in this heat!! They seem to have added more tennis courts and soccer fields. There's a great number of hills! I really enjoyed walking this park today! I really this is a 4.5. I only take a .5 off because I always wish there were more signs and/or marked paths so you know which way to go on the trail.

Blackburn Park is in Brookhaven, GA, a suburb of Metro Atlanta. This is a great place for both people and dog walking! The walk around the park is roughly 1.4 miles. There is plenty of parking. In addition to large fields for playing and relaxing, the park also contains multiple playgrounds, soccer fields, softball fields, tennis courts and a large pavilion. There are usually a number of people here, but they are largely clustered around the various game fields. This leaves plenty of room on the park trails!
