This is a great forest preserve and the waterfall is only a short walk from the parking lot. The trail was great, but there's no Fox River access in this segment; however the trail connects with Jon J. Duerr Forest Preserve to the north, which has river access.

This place was tons of fun, but dont tell anyone cause the parking lot is really small. Definetly carpool, follow the creek into the tunnel or down to the river! Great time for my 7 year old and me, but plan on getting wet.

Peaceful and relaxing. This place is perfect for kids to explore the waterfalls, and also to walk trails and view nature! Although the first time we went the Gps leads you to a road with no entrance, the parking lot is opposite side of where it leads you! Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Hidden gem! The kids love it. Small parking lot, but a couple of times we've been there, there were just one or two cars parked there. Graffiti is very sad though.

One of the best places to hike in the area and my kids loved the little creek and waterfall. Be aware that the trail entrance leading to the creek has no exit after awhile so you will have to turn around I would recommend stopping at the 2nd bridge
