Really nice to stroll through at sunset. The park is dog friendly and has at least one poop station.

The park is well-maintained and trails well-marked. I walked Mary's Trail and was pleasantly surprised by the beauty all around. The trail is rocky, with many tree roots and some areas of elevation changes. Overall a great hike! There is also a beautiful pond and cool history of the old dairy farm.

Update: Just returned here for a hike with the dogs. I haven’t been here in. I guess in over two years. The trails are pretty much the same. Many roots and sometimes hard to walk through. But new pavilions, new restrooms, new parking lot, they seemed to have fixed up the buildings especially the farmhouse. Worth taking a visit to, the only thing that really bothered us was you can hear the traffic from Route 40 almost the whole time we were there. It kind of ruins, the nature aspect of the place. but the dogs live the hike!! Nice park to meander around. Only OPEN FRI, SAT ,AND SUN. Why? Check out their bee hives! Maybe some day the house could be open for a peek into farm life as the sign shows. Ask where the cemetery is. !

We helped organize a wedding at Blackwood Farm Park this weekend. The staff (Special Shout out to Keith!) were incredibly helpful and accommodating of the needs of the event. They all really went above and beyond to make it a success. The views are incredible and it was such a beautiful place to make meaningful memories. The pavilion and picnic tables made for a beautiful reception area. Thanks for having us! Hope to be back for another event in the future!

Attractive park with informative placards and lovely rolling fields. Did the Mary's Trail to Alice's Loop trail. Nice trail, well marked. Roots and rocks make for tricky footing in some places, but all marked with a "more difficult" sign. Numerous "emergency exit" signs showing the easiest path back to parking seemed like a really nice touch. The west end of the loop near I-40 was really loud when we were there during rush hour.
