I've been coming to this park for a few years now and it provides a short challenging hike. It isn't very long but it is incredibly steep. If you have kids they will have to walk because it would be nearly impossible to push a stroller. Hike in the mornings or evenings because there are no trees other than down at the bottom. The neighborhood seems friendly enough and I've never had any run ins with gangster. The trail is accessible 24 hours a day and I believe so is the parking.

Love the hike area/ work out areas and the view. The skatepark is 'comfy' but overall everything is gorgeous and worth a visit. [Avoid roid users at workout equipment who feel entitled]
