I've almost been to all of Wake County's county parks and this was one of the most beautiful parks that I've been to in recent memory. I'd love to return again to walk more of the trails and try that zipline.

Beautiful scenery! Nice trails to explore around the lake. A very nice and safe park.

This is one of my favorite parks in the Raleigh Area. It’s large and has times when there might be a lot of visitors but at the same time everyone has room. There are trails, beach-like shores,a large lake, and small islands. It’s a nice daycation spot if you want to get away for a few.

Some cool trails with multiple access point to the water's edge. Lot's of traffic from the playground and much of the traffic can be children...if that is a problem for your reactive dog.......YOUR dog, not my dog. My dog is a sweet angel baby.

Loved this park, there is a lot to do and keeps kids busy. I also like the amount of areas to sit around the park. They have bathrooms and a nice trail that leads to the lake. We had fun for hours.
