Bob Bangert is home to the Quincy Park District's environmental education facilities. There are a couple of pavilions, a large wetland, and some nature trails.
I bring my 2 dogs here at least once a week. It is so peaceful. They love sniffing around . I don’t usually see a lot of people here so it is nice just to enjoy nature.
This area has really been developed nicely. It's a great place to see wildlife - migrating water birds rest in this watershed.
Handy, but limited parking to use the bike trail, but clean restrooms are much appreciated!
I wish they would open the park... what a shame to leave closed... visit here once a week or so to bowfish
