Like to walk my dog on these paved trails. Nice touch of nature. The trails are mix of full sun and shade so on hot days watch how hot the path gets. Lots of people bike and jog on the trail so pay attention if you have a long leash, not everyone gives a heads up when they are behind you.

Great place to bike. Has a lot of unexpected small inclines so it’s going to take some energy to go through the red trail, but it’s worth it. Wish that the trail was a little clearer on where you need to go as you have to cross the street multiple times throughout the red trail’s 9.3 miles

This gravel parking lot offers access to the Poplar Creek Trail, an 8.9-mile asphalt loop that's great for bicycling or running/walking. Aside from that, there is a mowed field of grass with some trees, nice enough but nothing special. Amenities are limited to a portable toilet and a few garbage cans. If you're looking for the lakes, go west to the paved lot.

Nice green area for picnics or playing with your dog. Far enough away from Bode Lake that there's not a lot of mosquitoes. The path is nice as well.

Still partially snow covered March 6, 2021, so few people out on the trails. Paved bike trail. Some deer eating in the fields. Lovely day.
