Perfect place to go to if you wanted to go for a long walk with your dog. The paths are well maintained. There are plenty of spots around here that provide shade so you’re not consistently under the sun. Ample parking too.

We visited on a sunny Sunday with the temps in the 30’s. Parking lot was actually pretty full but we did find parking. There is garbage, recycling and a porta-potty off the lot. The lake is quite pretty. Only use for fishing, no swimming or boating. We walked the paved trail and then caught up with some of the grassy trails off of Higgins Rd. In total a nice 3 mile walk but potential for a lot longer and great for bikes! The trails were clean and well maintained. Lots of animal prints. We saw ducks, a hawk and 2 deer that walked across the path right in front of us. Would recommend :)

My boyfriend and I discovered this nice little place on our way to an errand. We loved it! The lake is very serene and beautiful. I recommend bringing a Lawn chair, to relax and take it all in. There are people that come with their bicycle, there's trails. People also come to fish, we seen them fishing. We've continued to come again. It's a good place for a picnic. Family friendly. Update 06/09/2022 We tried fishing and we had a great time. We caught 2 fishes in not evening an hour of being there! So much fun and great scenery!

First time here. It was amazing and I'm glad I went. Some people are chick magnets in life, I realized yesterday I'm a deer magnet. I ended up seeing 4 deer in total.
