Pretty nice preserve with the trail being just under two and a half miles. Trails weren't too muddy in early March. Plenty of parking with restrooms available.

Bowes Creek Woods Forest Preserve is a beautiful place to enjoy nature and get away from the city’s noise. The trails are well maintained and surrounded by trees that create a peaceful, shaded atmosphere. It’s perfect for walking, jogging, or just getting some fresh air. During fall, the colors are absolutely stunning. A clean, safe, and relaxing spot to spend time outdoors

Has a restroom and a shelter, gravel trails throughout.

Nice gravel trails. Horses go here, and people don't always pick up after their dogs, so pay attention where you're stepping.

I don't want anyone else to know how wonderful this preserve is so we don't to too busy. The dog walkers and nature lovers enjoy greeting each other as we walk everyday in early morning.
